Siri drops her first video from her new series called “Straight off the Desk”.
She drops her version of Rihanna’s smash hit “Work” . The killer flow and lyrics are accompanied by equally sick video, which has been shot and edited by Siri herself. And I must say, she is equally good with her video concepts. Highly recommended, if you are looking for some good lyrical stuff. We’re looking forward to the upcoming episodes.

This one for the culture. Sunno Music and They-See Battle League brings you sounds from underground part 2
Ghauri drops the 2nd part to his “Sounds from the Underground” Series. This version features DJ Danny, Asi Khan, Nasir Shams and Mudassar Qureshi. DJ Danny is making a comeback after a long gap, and i must say that the wait has been totally worth it, as he murders the beat with his crazy flow. All the emcees bring their different style and deliveries, on the beat produced by Ghauri.
We spoke to DJ Danny about the track and how they came up with the idea, and here is what he had to say:
“Ghauri made the first SFU and then artists were interested, So we released the 2nd one. 3rd one will have Dar, OCL, and some other rappers from the capital. The idea was Ghauri’s, He’s like the DJ khaled of Pakistan now”

Brampton based rapper B Magic has just released his brand new album “HEARTLAKE”. The album has a total of 9 tracks featuring production by Kabir Gill, Subdaio, BumShiv, Byg Byrd & Chizzy, And has guest appearances by fellow Canadian rappers Noyz, Humble the Poet and SP.
Noyz shared the story behind the album via a post on his Facebook page:
B Magic presents Heart Lake
For both Magic and I, this project sums up a lot of frustration we’ve had musically the past few years. After Zoo Babies dissolved, there wasn’t any hostility between the members, but there was some anger for the time and energy lost on a project that we all felt could have taken us far, and confusion about what we would do next. When you’re forced back to square one, all you can do is use the same tools that you started with, so that’s exactly what we did. We took it back to writing and making music for the fun of it, revisiting the same energy we had during countless basement writing sessions. It was only right that Magic chose to name this project Heart Lake because it’s a representation of where we come from, a shout out to the people who grew up with us, and a tribute to the place where we fell in love with music.
The album is available for online streaming on B Magic’s official Soundcloud account, It is also available for download for free.

Shaikhspeare drops his First video, titled “All Men Must Die”, featuring Shaman, from his upcoming mixtape “Underground Uprising”. The track is a very powerful socio-political rap, which is based on TV Series “Game of Thrones”. Shaikhspeare compares the story of Game of Thrones to the situation of modern day world.
Shaikhspeare is an independent emcee from Mumbai who will be releasing his second mixtape titled “Underground Uprising” this year. This music video is the first single from it.
It is a musical synopsis of how we humans have time and again paved a path of our own destruction for the unending greed of power and money.
The beat is produced by “Natiq” (a young producer from New Delhi) which is based on “Game of Thrones” theme. Shaikhspeare along with Shaman (one-half of the duo “ Highbred” from Bengaluru) came up with an idea of incorporating the GOT’s storyline into the content and intertwining it with the world’s historical, socio-political, economic and environmental situation.
The video is shot and edited by “Nikhil Vaiude”(from Mumbai) which depicts the resemblance between “GOT” and the real world incidents. It also commemorates the martyrs and the revolutionaries who have inspired millions of us to resist and fight for freedom, justice and equality in order to shape up a better world.

Well well, what a year it is indeed for Hip-Hop scene in India.
We started the year with not one but two amazing videos on January first. And then we heard an audio, with a girl rapping over Dr. Dre’s famous “Still Dre” instrumental, which completely blew our minds away. Well, She goes by the name of SIRIUS, and she is back with a brand new track along with ROE. The track is called “Anybody” and is produced by BluntedBeatz. ROE is also the man behind the music video, Which is itself a piece of art. The Video is very simple yet creative
Here is what SIRIUS told us when we asked her about the track:
“Rohit (ROE) did the editing(Video) and everything
I helped him put it together
The rap is mostly all the pent up thoughts on how everything around was weighing me down lacking progress. Wanted to do something about it, and came up with those bars. That feeling was mutual to him too so decided to make a track on it. It was a quick decision and went ahead with it. Kinda random actually”
