From the creator of the hit single “Mere Gully Mein” comes an anthem for the urban jungle – “Jungli Sher”. The song written, co-composed and performed by DIVINE is his life’s story from the gullies of Mumbai, representing the voice of the common man.
Produced by Sony Music India and helmed by director Vandana Kataria, this video was shot on iPhone 6s in 43 locales over 4 days and nights in Mumbai.
A local boy from the slums of Mumbai, DIVINE has crafted his journey from growing up in the streets to now being a poster boy. His award winning 2013 release “Yeh Mera Bombay” went viral and thereafter received exposure on local radio stations across the country. His 2015 summer-smash “Mere Gully Mein” was not only honored as the ‘Best Video of 2015’ by Rolling Stone Magazine, but further established him as one of the premier hip-hop acts that garnered him an international listenership through plays on Beats1. He was also awarded ‘Best New Artist 2015’ by iTunes and Apple Music in India and as one of the top 6 artist to watch-out for in 2016 by the BBC Asian Network.
With DIVINE, every song has a premise and every line has a deep rooted meaning and “Jungli Sher” is exactly that.

This surely is a good time for the Indian Hip-Hop scene. First, Enkore dropped his album “Libra Scale”, and now Poetik Justis finally drops his long awaited debut album “Greatness“.
Its a 10 track album, with production by SEZ, HHB, AgeOfEdo, Dorian X and KeepSake. The album mostly features solo tracks, with one exception (Track 10-All That). The only artist featured on the album is Keepsake.
Poetik Justis speaks about “Greatness”:
“The album in an overview is about trying to find or achieve greatness in different ways. I’ve tried to talk about a lot of things in the album, most of these things have come from the things I have seen or learnt in my life experiences till date. This is why the album title is as such. It’s not about just one particular emotion or train of thought, it’s more of a collection of ideas and experiences and how it all affects our lives.”

The Quixotic, veteran artist, battle rapper and co-founder of Underground Music League released his new single Ain’t The End on 4th April, 2015. Artwork by Antorip Works and produced by Sez Productions, the song was scheduled for release last year but ran into some difficulties.
“The vibe of this song is laid back and introspective. It was recorded right before I moved to Mumbai from New Delhi and attempts to capture the mind state of someone transitioning into a new phase of life with equal parts excitement, anticipation and determination” says The Quixotic, who since moving has formed a duo The Lab with Thane Producer-Rapper Nasir (The N), and been a part of B3, India’s Official Rap Battle League since its beginning.
The song crossed over 1000 plays in its first 24 hours and received rave reviews from fans and artists alike. “The Quixotic has proven yet again why he is one of the most versatile rappers from the region.” said Hassan Dozakhi, of internationally acclaimed Multinational Corporations.
The Lab is currently working on its Mixtape “Miles To Go”, the release date for which is yet to be finalized. We also hear that The N will be deviating musical styles in the tape.
Frappe Ash drops his new single “Young And Free” from his upcoming mixtape MISFIT. The track has been produced by Delhi based producer SEZ. It features vocals by Christina.
Here is what Frappe Ash told us about his new joint when we spoke to him:
“this song was started as a project between me and sez around december 2013. i recorded my vox in the summers of 2014. i got busy with my college admissions so couldnt work on my music for sometime. i was making music all the time but wasnt getting enough time to release/ publish it.
later i met with CHRISTINA. she’s a classmate of mine in my college and carries an amazing voice.
thanks a lot to sez for providing me with just the right type of beat and to christina for lending me her vocals.
So finally after going through a lot of transition in my lifestyle to my music as i had to shift places and work in a completely new place with a fresh mindset, i have finally decided to release all my music that i made all this while in a mixtape called MISFIT.
“MISFIT” has a lot of catching sounds. the mixtape is filled with classic samples, trap beats, clever and fancy lyricism yet deep at the same time and is scheduled to be released around the summers of 2015.”
Delhi based rapper MC Feral has released his brand new music video. The track is callled “Dreams”, and it has been produced by Sajeel Kapoor, better known as SEZ. The video has been made by Romi Kahlon. Here is what MC Feral had to say when we spoke to him about his new video:
“I am very happy to announce that the Music Video for Dreams is finally out. I have been working on this track since an year and I am glad it has come out Satisfactory. Music Video is done by Romi Kahlon and has done a good job on that. The Video is not that flashy but has kept very simple keeping the Music and the Song on the upper side of the complete project.
I have kept the title of the song as Dreams, as this is something which i have talked about in my song a lot and love talking about it offline. The Lyrics of the song are inspiring and may touch a heart or two.
I really want to thank Sajeel Kapoor a.k.a Sez who has done the Music for the song and for all the effort and support so far and keeping all patience with me during the course as the project wasnt that easy for me to complete while working in a IT company to support my music and my family.”
